The opposite of an hourly rate
Charging by the hour quietly discourages you from calling, which is exactly the wrong incentive.
Small faults go unreported because they are not worth a call-out, and then become the large fault that costs a week. Meanwhile the work that actually protects you — verified backups, current systems, proportionate security — never happens, because nobody wants to pay an hourly rate for maintenance with no visible output.
This arrangement removes that. You call whenever something is wrong, however minor. We keep the estate in order in the background regardless. The fee does not move.
It suits households with a substantial amount of connected equipment, clients who travel and need everything working on arrival, family offices, and anyone whose time is worth considerably more than the hourly saving.
