02Finding us

Getting here

The workshop is at 294 Kensington High Street, towards the Olympia end, in London W14 8NZ.

Open in Apple Maps or Google Maps.

The nearest Underground stations are Kensington (Olympia) and High Street Kensington, and a number of bus routes run the length of Kensington High Street. Kensington High Street is a red route for much of its length, so plan where to stop before you arrive.

If you are bringing in a desktop machine or anything large, call ahead on 020 7477 2151 so the right engineer is available when you arrive.

03What to bring

Useful to have with you

  • The power supply, particularly for a laptop — a machine that cannot be charged cannot be tested
  • Access to the machine, or the password, since much of the diagnosis is impossible without it
  • Any error message, photographed if it appears and vanishes
  • When the fault started, and what preceded it — a fall, a spill, an update, a power cut

04Questions

Before you set off

Do I need an appointment?

Not necessarily, though calling ahead on 020 7477 2151 is sensible for anything large, or where a specific engineer needs to see the machine.

Can you come to me instead?

Yes. We visit clients on site across west and central London, and a great many problems can be solved remotely without anyone travelling at all.

How quickly do you reply to the form?

Enquiries are answered by email, usually the same working day. Anything urgent is better by telephone.

Can you help if I am not in London?

For anything that does not need hands on the machine, yes — remote support works anywhere. For repairs, the machine has to reach Kensington.
