Established in 2004 and based in London's Kensington district, Unity® was founded by passionate London-born technologist Hassan Ahouiek. With a background in managed IT services, Hassan took his expertise and applied it to smart-home technology - a solid IT system is the backbone of any good smart-home or intelligent space.
The business evolved to become Unity® - a ‘technology concierge’ that designs, installs and looks after smart-home and audiovisual systems for some of the most demanding clients in London and beyond. Our raison d’être is to enhance quality of life through the use of technology. We guide our clients through this ever-changing landscape during their new-build, renovation or retrofit project.

I’ve always been interested in making things work together as an overall unit instead of on their own, with the aim of making them more functional and getting more value out of them. Today we see a plethora of technologies available with the aim of achieving that seamless integration. When done right, it’s possible to really enhance a space with technology. So Unity® is a manifestation of my passion for using technology integration to improve people’s quality of life, be it at home, work or elsewhere.”
